Certification Europe will hold Ireland’s first Business Continuity Management Symposium on Thursday, 3rd February 2011.
Creating and successfully operating a strong Business Continuity Management (BCM) capability allows your business to demonstrate its preparedness to face disruption. Large or small, multinational or indigenous, manufacturing or service, a robust Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) will provide your company with significant advantages.
A number of Irish organisations are leading the way on business continuity management and have achieved best practice by gaining certification against the internationally recognised standard for BCM, BS 25999.
The Revenue Commissioners and Ireland’s Emergency Call Answering Service, both of whom have recently achieved certification to BS 25999, will speak at the Symposium sharing their experience and recommendations for the benefit of organisations developing business continuity systems to best practice.
Delegates attending the symposium will also hear from key practitioners in the field of business continuity, including representatives from PWC and Certification Europe.
